Announces the auction of the right of superficies in Ventspils Industrial Park

​Ventspils State City Local Government has announced an open oral auction for the right of superficies on an undeveloped land plot owned by Ventspils State City Local Government, with an area of 304,435 m2 located at Kurzemes Street 83, Ventspils, with cadastral number 27000330118.
The right of superficies is intended for the construction and use of solar panels and related engineering structures, for the production of alternative fuels, for the production, storage and processing of electricity, or the field of smart specialization - knowledge-intensive bioeconomy, biomedicine, medical technologies, pharmaceuticals, photonics and smart materials, technologies and engineering systems, smart energy and mobility, information and communication technologies
The regulations of the auction envisage that the bidder is required to create no less than three new job positions by 31 July 2026, with an average salary exceeding the average wage in the relevant economic sector of the Kurzeme Planning Region. Additionally, they must make non-financial investments in their intangible assets and fixed assets totalling no less than EUR 10,700,000.
The application deadline for the auction is set for 21 October 2024, with the auction itself scheduled for 28 October 2024.
