Lease Auction Announced for Two Planned Industrial Buildings in Ventspils

​The Ventspils State City Municipality has announced an open oral auction for the lease rights to two planned industrial buildings in Ventspils.
The following lease rights will be offered at the auction:

• the lease rights to the planned industrial building with a total floor area of 4,437.5 m², together with the associated real property and the functionally related part of the land plot, to be developed under the project "Construction of an Industrial Building at Ventspils High Technology Park 4, Ventspils" (Project No. 6.1.1.3/2/26/A/013);
• the lease rights to the planned industrial building with a total floor area of 4,437.5 m² at Ganību Street 99, together with the associated real property and the functionally related land plot, to be developed under the project "Construction of an Industrial Building at Ganību Street 99, Ventspils" (Project No. 6.1.1.3/2/26/A/009).

​Under the conditions of both projects, the successful bidder will be required to create at least 45 new jobs by 31 December 2029 and make non-financial investments in intangible assets and fixed assets in the amount specified in the auction regulations.
The starting lease rate for the premises in each lease object is EUR 3.30 per m² per month, excluding value added tax (VAT). In addition to the bid lease rate for the premises, the lessee will also be required to pay land lease. The minimum bidding increment is EUR 0.05 per m².
The auction regulations for both lease objects are available and can be downloaded from the website www.ventspils.lv/izsoles.
The auctions will take place on 26 August 2026 at the premises of the Municipal Institution "Ventspils Municipal Administration", Jūras Street 36, Ventspils, in the meeting hall on the second floor. The auctions are open to the public.
Applications for participation must be submitted by 12:00 p.m. on 17 August 2026. The application, together with proof of payment of the bid security deposit, must be submitted to the Municipal Institution "Ventspils Port", Ostas Street 23, Ventspils, or sent electronically, signed with a secure electronic signature, to [email protected].
