Ventspils Beach Receives the Blue Flag for the 28th Time

On 18 May, the Blue Flag and National Bathing Water Quality Certificate award ceremony organised by the Foundation for Environmental Education took place in Riga at the Latvian National Museum of Literature and Music.
Ventspils Beach has received the Blue Flag for the 28th consecutive year — the world’s most recognised eco-certification for tourism destinations, confirming high standards of environmental quality, safety, and management.
This summer, Blue Flags will fly at 13 bathing sites and one marina across Latvia.
