Ventspils Industrial Park was presented at the Baltic Real Estate Leaders forum

​On the 17th of October Ventspils Industrial Park was presented at the BREL (Baltic Real Estate Leaders) forum which is one of the largest international real estate and investment events in the Baltic States. The event took place in Riga, representatives from The Port of Ventspils were there to present investment opportunities in Ventspils.

​Every year, experienced industry leaders and specialists from all over the world gather at the forum to discuss current issues in the real estate segment and promote understanding of best practices in attracting foreign investment. This year, the forum's program focused on areas such as urban planning, digitalization and investments.
One of the main partners in the organization of the forum is the Latvian Investment and Development Agency, at whose information stand regional industrial parks of Latvia will be presented, including the Ventspils Industrial Park of national importance.
It is planned that technologically innovative companies will operate in the territory of the future Ventspils Industrial Park, which will use renewable energy to ensure the production process. The development potential is here for the engineering, electricity, green methanol, hydrogen, plastic products and electronics manufacturing industries. In general, three functional zones are planned for the development of the industrial park - high-tech production, green technology production and green energy zone.
At the Ventspils Industrial Park, investors are offered to rent a planned production building with an area of 4,400 square meters with all the necessary infrastructure. The investors as well have the opportunity, through auction, to obtain building rights for construction and use of solar panels and other to it related engineering structures or buildings in the territory of the industrial park. 
The municipality of Ventspils has been successfully implementing the industrialization program for two decades, and Ventspils has all the prerequisites for the development of an industrial park - good educational and research opportunities, excellent transport connections and a developed urban environment.
