Ventspils Strengthens Support for Entrepreneurs and New Residents

On Thursday, March 26, the Ventspils City Council adopted a decision to conclude a delegation agreement with the foundation “Ventspils High Technology Park” in order to continue developing business support and attracting new residents to the city, ensuring the provision of services by the Ventspils Business Support Centre.

​Within the framework of the agreement, a single point of contact will continue to be provided for entrepreneurs, start-ups, and residents, including remigrants. This will give interested parties easier access to information about business opportunities in Ventspils, available infrastructure, and support instruments, as well as promote the attraction of new investments and the creation of jobs.
 
The “Ventspils High Technology Park” has long been providing business support services, managing the industrial park, and implementing various development projects.
In 2026, funding of €55,500 is planned for the implementation of this municipality-delegated task, while in subsequent years the funding will be determined annually in accordance with budget possibilities.
The agreement will remain in force until the end of 2032, ensuring long-term support for business development and the attraction of new residents to Ventspils.
