​Ventspils Municipality has created and is maintaining a platform LivinVentspils that is aimed at helping employers and employees to find each other faster and easier. The services are free of charge. 
If you are an employer operating in Ventspils, you are invited to register in the platform LivinVentspils to find employees easier.
You can:

•  Create your company’s profile free of charge
•  Place job advertisements for free
• Access specialist database to find and address the potential employees
• View, assess, and assign a particular status to the submitted applications

Employees, on the other hand, can register and add information about themselves, indicate profession they wish to work in, indicate the desirable remuneration, specify the desirable vacancies that they are interested in and wish to keep track of, as well as view employers in Ventspils who have registered on platform.

MUNICIPAL HOUSING DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

​Municipal provides support to businesses in order to attract qualified employees in Ventspils. Priority treatment in receiving a municipality-owned rental accommodation if not registered in Ventspils city or if attained qualification in the company’s core business area within the last 3 years.

• Ventspils is the first municipality in Latvia to provide municipal support for construction of new rental houses         

​Objective: to address the problem of affordability of rental housing and to promote business development.
Aid: 35%, but not more than EUR 200 000.
