Ventspils photo archive Ventspils State City Local Government has announced an open oral auction for the lease rights of a production building as a part of the project “Establishment of an Industrial Park of National Importance in Ventspils”; the auction will involve the production building with a total area of 4,435.9 m2 and the associated territory located at Kurzemes Street 83, Ventspils, covering approximately 20,400.00 m2 (cadastral number 27000330118).
The regulations of the auction also specify the criteria for selecting bidders. It is stipulated that the bidder must create no fewer than 41 new job positions by 31 July 2026, and no fewer than 60 new job positions by 31 December 2028. The average salary for these positions must exceed the average wage in the relevant economic sector of Kurzeme Planning Region, and the average salary must not be lower than the average wage in the country in 2020. Additionally, , the bidder must make non-financial investments in their intangible assets and fixed assets totalling no less than EUR 400,000 by 31 December 2028. The application deadline for the auction is set for 15 May 2024, with the auction itself planned for 22 May 2024. The right of superficies is intended for the construction and use of solar panels and related engineering structures, for the production of alternative fuels from the generated electricity in the solar park, for electricity production, as well as for its storage and processing.
