On 16 June, the traditional celebration of rafters was held for the future industrial building at 99 Ganību Street. Vonstruction of the new production building is being carried out by SIA PILSBŪVE, while the building will be leased by SIA Aspired, which plans to create up to 45 new jobs in Ventspils in the future.
The event was attended by the management of Ventspils City Council, municipal institution "Ventspils Port", municipal institution “Komunālā pārvalde” responsible for management of construction, Central Finance and Contracting Agency and the tenant "Aspired", as well as representatives of the construction contractor "PILSBŪVE" and the builders.

In order to further develop new and modern business infrastructure in Ventspils, as well as to promote environmentally friendly and sustainable territorial growth, a new industrial building and a public car park are being constructed at 99 Ganību Street. The project will result in the construction of a new production building with an area of 2'400 m2 by 31 December 2023 and the improvement of the adjacent territory, as well as the construction of a public car park for 32 cars at 99 Ganību Street and a public car park for 97 cars at 6 Krustkalna Street. 45 new jobs will be created by investing in the development of the area.

The industrial building will be leased by SIA Aspired, which won the lease for the site in a public auction. Company specializes in engineering solutions and will provide a full cycle of production services at the site, from the development of a model based on samples or drawings provided by the client, to the delivery of the finished product.

"Aspired already has ambitious plans. In addition to our existing services, we will soon be launching the production and export of a unique product - the CO2 air quality sensor. This sensor is different in that it is the smallest sensor currently available in the world in terms of size, and each of our customers will be able to customize its design according to their preferences. In an age when people are increasingly focused on their health, it is particularly important to have such a stylish and high quality product at hand to monitor air quality wherever it is needed, as this is a pocket-sized CO2 sensor that will be easily portable. Air quality affects our health, our ability to work and to concentrate, so it is essential to have one in every office." said Ilze Valdmane, Member of the Board of Ventspils High Technology Park.

The total cost of the project is EUR 4.3 million, of which EUR 2.41 million is financed by the ERDF.
