​"Ventspils is a unique example in Latvia - the city has experienced impressive industrial growth over the past 20 years and has proven its economic potential. The production output of the manufacturing industry has increased 50 times! We have achieved such a result with a targeted industrialization program, which the municipality started in 2002. On the other hand, in 2022, Ventspils has started a new industrialization program, a project has been developed for a new, several hundred hectares wide industrial park for the needs of investors and industry. Thus, in the next 20 years, Ventspils will become the center of development and production of green and digital technologies in Europe. The visionary was created with the aim of gathering businessmen and industry experts to look for solutions for the transformation of the energy sector and its impact on the Latvian economy. During the event, participants will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the opinions of experts from various industries, participate in a discussion about the use of renewable energy in Latvia, as well as network and informally meet with business leaders and energy industry experts.
