Centre for New Science Researchers lessons in March

Ventspils Science Centre VIZIUM invites students of grade 8-12 to attend activities of the Centre for New Science Researchers that will give opportunity to explore and develop 3D models for use with VR glasses, learn about monitoring and data processing of comets, asteroids and other objects of the Universe, and various other interesting topics of STEM and IT fields, as well as meet inspiring scientists.

First lesson will take place on March 1.

The lessons are free of charge and take place every Wednesday at 17.00 – 19.00.
Lesson schedule in March:

• “Creating a virtual environment through a game drive” March 1 at 17.00;
• “Creating interactive elements by programming in the game drive” on March 8 at 17.00.

Both lessons will be thematically interlinked, so the participant is advised to attend both lessons.

• “What are comets and asteroids, how to observe them?” 22 March 17.00;
• “Processing observation data: How does this happen and why?” 29 March 17.00.
