Let us introduce manufacturers that have already chosen Ventspils! For more than 10 years Ventspils is home to the production plant of the company Forta PRO. 150 people who work in the plant produce high-quality modules for construction of hotels, residential buildings, student hotels, rental apartments, hospitals, clinics, social service institutions and other types of buildings. The modules produced in Ventspils are mainly transported to foreign countries.

Modular construction techniques allow to construct sustainable buildings, save resources and time, reduce environmental impact and disturbances in the area surrounding the construction site. When constructing buildings from modules, construction process happens 30-50% faster than if traditional construction methods are being used. It is possible to construct a building qualitatively in a small urban environment, virtually without noise and dust. In December, 2022, Forta PRO and the South Korean company “Samsung Construction and Trading” joined forces to become the world's leading modular construction company, highlighting ambitious development plans both in Latvia and abroad. In this context, significant expansion of production, introduction of innovative technologies and also new jobs in Ventspils and Jelgava, where the company's production plants are located, are expected to increase the total number of employees from 400 to 700. The first joint project between the two companies is already under way.
